Free agency has been rough for the Golden State Warriors. Several of our role players and bench support played crucial roles in winning our 4th NBA Championship last month. Unfortunately, with success, comes more lucrative opportunities with other teams. We’ve had to say farewell to Gary Payton II, Nemanja Bjelica, Juan Toscano-Anderson, and Otto Porter Jr.
In classy, professional Warriors-fashion we wished them all good luck and heartfelt thanks for their invaluable contributions.
I couldn’t find a similar Thank You video from the Warriors, which I find odd and little insulting, but I’m sure the Dubs wish him well too. He didn’t have as big an impact as Gary Payton or Otto Porter, but he did contribute meaningful minutes to give other key players rest. I was a particularly impressed with his 3-point shooting capability and his passing prowess.
