Gasoline prices have been ebb and flow over the course of the last year and so, with the once high prices of around $4 going as low as $2 per gallon. Then Russia invades Ukraine, coinciding with a huge spike in prices, around $6 per gallon. Over the course of the past few months, they slowly dropped, but it wasn’t until a few weeks ago that it finally dipped below $5 a gallon (if you use Costco). On my last fill up just a few days ago, I was gleeful to see a price of $4.8 per gallon (for Fresno). At this rate, gas prices might return to normal in several more months. This is surely welcome news to those that have turned to using their personal vehicles for making money (be it with the demon Uber, or the lesser evil, Amazon).
