While it took me a while (during the game) without really having done any research on the significance of November 30th, 2023, when I got it, I thought it was a great idea! I’ve always thought of the Warriors in the context of the Big Four of Klay, Steph, Dray, and Iggy but now that he’s retired, I think it’s timely and appropriate that we draw a line in the sand and cement the legacies of this trio.
Thursday was a great day of celebration and the trio had their fingerprints all over a quality 120-114 win — without key pieces like Andrew Wiggins, Chris Paul and Gary Payton II — against a star-studded Clippers team. On a day of remembrance, Curry, Thompson and Green reminded the world that they are still going strong. “Thanks for giving us our flowers now but we still have more work to do,” Curry said.
